Background andAim: The interest and attention of the new generation of students to electronic learning and the use of digital tools has increased, and the students of the field of pre-hospital emergency medicine also spend field internships in various urban and road bases and numerous hospital emergencies, and more importantly, time management plays a very important role. It is vital in the implementation of their missions, so it seems that recording activities and experiences electronically can be effective. Materials and Methods:The study was conducted by action research method. 53 emergency medicine students and 6 faculty members of the emergency medicine department participated. In the first step, a draft of the portfolio was prepared by reviewing related studies and examining the medical emergency curriculum. In the second step, the E- portfolio was implemented as an evaluation tool for students, and in the third step, based on the Kirkpatrick model (first level), at the end of the semester, the attitude of students and professors regarding the implementation of this method was investigated using a questionnaire. Results: The students' opinion about the validity of the electronic portfolio was average (3.51±1.11) and according to the professors, it was good (4.22±0.8). 52.08 of the students evaluated the ability to implement the electronic portfolio as average and 66.67 percent of the professors evaluated the ability to implement the electronic portfolio as good. Regarding the satisfaction of the electronic workbook, the opinion of the students was average (3.25±1.34) and good (4.13±0.77) according to the professors. Conclusion: According to the findings, the design, implementation and evaluation of the E-portfolio for emergency medicine students has been relatively successful. This research can help to clarify the obstacles and inadequacies of the implementation of the E-portfolio, so that decisions can be made about the solutions and actions needed.
