Currently, the third version of the Anxiety Sensitivity Index as a validated index has the most psychometric evidence. The importance of this construct in psychopathology has given it a special position in both diagnosis-specific cognitive-behavioral therapy and transdiagnostic cognitive-behavioral therapy.
