fa بررسی اثرات سمی کادمیوم بر عملکرد کلیه در افراد سیگاری و غیرسیگاری و ارتباط آن با ظرفیت تبادل هوایی سیستم‌های تهویه در زندان مراغه Investigation of the Toxic Effects of Cadmium on Kidney Function inthe Smoker and Nonsmoker Prisoners and its Relationship with Air Exchange Systems Capacity in Maragheh City Prison مهندسی بهداشت محیط Environmental Health Engineering پژوهشي اصیل Original Research <div> <div> <div id="_com_16" uage="JavaScript">زمینه و هدف:کادمیوم یکی از فلزات سنگین است که مواجهه طولانی مدت انسان با آن می‌تواند منجر به خطرات سلامتی زیادی شود لذا هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی اثرات سمی کادمیوم بر عملکرد کلیه در افراد سیگاری و غیرسیگاری و ارتباط آن با سیستم‌های تهویه در زندان شهرستان مراغه میباشد. مواد و روشها: این مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی بر روی 90 نفر زندانی انجام شد. کادمیوم نمونه ادرار با استفاده از دستگاه جذب اتمی کوره گرافیتی اندازهگیری شد.  فاکتورهای کلیوی  شامل وزن مخصوص ادرار، کراتینین، پروتئین، آلبومین، گلوکز و اوره نمونه ادرار با استفاده از دستگاه اتوآنالایزر هیتاچی اندازه گیری شد.، یافتهها: بالاترین مقدار دفع شده کادمیوم بر کراتینین، پروتئین بر کراتینین، آلبومین بر کراتینین و گلوکز در گروه سیگاری فاقد سیستم تهویه مشاهده گردیده است و در این گروه ارتباط بین نسبت کادمیوم بر کراتینین با پروتئین بر کراتینین، آلبومین بر کراتینین، اوره و گلوکز رابطه معنیداری داشت  (P <0/05)در حالی که در گروه شاهد فاقد سیستم تهویه این ارتباط فقط با دفع گلوکز در ادرار معنیدار بود (P < 0/05)  و با بقیه متغییرها معنیدار نبود(P ≥0/05) . نتیجهگیری: مواجهه با فلز کادمیوم از طریق دود سیگار به صورت مستقیم و غیرمستقیم می‌تواند عملکرد کلیه را تحت تاثیر قرار ‌دهد و منجر به افزایش دفع پروتئین، آلبومین، اوره و گلوکز ‌شود. همچنین این تاثیر، متاثر از سیستم‌های تهویه در فضای بسته می‌باشد بطوری که می‌توان گفت وجود سیستم‌های تهویه مناسب، مواجهه با دود سیگار و به تبع آن مواجهه با کادمیوم را کاهش داده و اثرات زیانبار کادمیوم بر روی کلیه افراد مواجههیافته کاهش می‌یابد. </div> </div> </div> Background and Aim: Cadmium is one of the heavy metals and long time exposure to it can cause a lot of health problems in human beings. In this study, we investigated the toxic effects of Cadmium on kidney performance in the smokers and non-smokers and also its relationship with ventilation systems at Maragheh City prison. Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytical study included 90 prisoners. Cadmium of urine samples was measured by using a graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer. Parameters of renal function including urine specific gravity, creatinine, protein, albumin, glucose and urea were measured using a Hitachi autoanalyzer. Results: The highest values of excretion of cadmium, protein, albumin, per gram creatinine and glucose were observed in the smokers without ventilation systems in their living quarters. In this group, ratio of cadmium per creatinine showed significant relationships with protein per creatinine, albumin per creatinine, urea, and glucose (P < 0.05), while in the control group without ventilation, this ratio had significant relationship only with urinary glucose excretion (P < 0.05) and we found no significant relationships between cadmium per creatinine ratio and other variables in this group (P ≥ 0.05). Conclusion: Exposure to cadmium metal through cigarette smoke can directly and indirectly affect kidney function and lead to increased excretion of protein, albumin, urea and glucose.
