Material and Method: This study included 100 patients and 100 normal people as our matched group, which was selected non-randomly. The subjects completed Cloninger's Temperament and Character Inventory TCI-125. Data were analyzed by MANCOVA. Results: The results of this study revealed that the scores of novelty seeking and co-cooperativeness were low and scores of harm avoidance were high in the patients with cancer in comparison to those of normal subjects. Conclusion: Considering the correlation of personality traits with cancer, we recommend psychological interventions for these patients.
