In recent decades, dengue fever, recognized as an emerging crisis, has affected several countries. In Iran, the establishment of these disease vectors in the northern and southern regions raises concerns regarding the potential outbreak of dengue. Control strategies based on the biological behaviors of the vectors, such as the use of targeted indoor residual spraying, should also be considered. Managing larval habitats and effective public education and participation play a key role in controlling and preventing the spread of dengue vectors.
